We are now looking for

IT Development Manager, Ground Customer Experience

to be responsible at Finnair IT in coordinating development and managing application portfolio in own responsibility area. Y ou will act as IT owner for the Ground Customer Experience applications and systems and lead continuous innovation by benchmarking with other airlines and vendors as well as follow the industry and technology trends.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identifying business needs and collect requirements
  • Leading continuous innovation and benchmarking with other airlines and vendors
  • Benchmarks and follow industry and technology trends in own area
  • Managing IT projects
  • Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Facilitating development meetings, enhancement planning, prioritization and ordering
  • Participation in technology selections with business and other IT teams
  • Driving development activities to ensure cost adherence, quality and timely completion
  • Reporting development progress to key stakeholders
  • Ensuring that business and other benefits are fully utilized
  • Managing vendors and agreements in IT service area
  • Supporting change management
  • Supporting IT service area lead in budgeting

Our Expectations:
  • Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in IT development and a proven track record from successful projects
  • Experience in development of ground customer service systems; departure control system, business process management and self-service applications
  • Service design and usability skills
  • Good airline knowledge and understanding of customer
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluency in English
