We are now looking for

IT Development Manager, Inflight Customer Service

to be responsible at Finnair IT in coordinating development and managing application portfolio in own responsibility area. Y ou will act as IT owner for the Inflight Customer Service applications and systems and lead continuous innovation by benchmarking with other airlines and vendors as well as follow the industry and technology trends.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Identify business needs and collect requirements
  • Benchmark and follow industry and technology trends in own area
  • Subject matter expert in own service area, understand the processes and information requirements of own area
  • Manage projects (certified IT PM)
  • Maintain development roadmaps for own area
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors
  • Facilitate development meetings, enhancement planning, prioritization and ordering
  • Participate in technology selections with architecture team and other stakeholders
  • Monitor development activities to ensure cost adherence, quality and timely completion
  • Report development progress to key stakeholders
  • Ensure that business and other benefits are fully utilized
  • Lead continuous innovation and benchmarking with other airlines and vendors
  • Develop data quality management activities
  • Manage vendors in projects
  • Change management and application management actions

Our Expectations:

  • Bachelor´s or Master's degree in a relevant field
  • 3-5 years of experience in development of tools for customer experience
  • Strong system architecture and data security understanding
  • International project management and team work competence and agile methodology knowledge
  • Ability in user centric service design methodologies
  • Test management knowledge
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills with solution oriented mindset
  • Fluency in English
  • General airline industry knowledge is a benefit
